No — your Consumer Cellular number stays with your existing SIM and won't transfer to Airalo. If you choose a Local Voice/Text plan, you'll get a new local number for that country. If you choose a Global Voice/Text plan, you'll get a new +1 US number. Either way, people trying to reach you on your usual number won't be able to call or text it while you're using Airalo for voice and text. If you keep your Consumer Cellular SIM active and have enabled international roaming, your normal number can still receive calls/texts and roaming rates will apply. We recommend setting up a free messaging app (see below) so friends and family can still reach you easily.

It depends on your plan. With a Local (in-country) plan, calls and texts work to numbers within that country only — calls or texts to the US are not included. With a Global plan, your voice and text minutes can be used for both local and international calls and texts, including back to the US.
