If you have an active Consumer Cellular plan, phones like the iPhone 17 and Samsung Galaxy are covered by Asurion Protection. Devices are eligible to enroll in Asurion Protection in the first 60 days of a new device activation or upgrade.

You can enroll by adding Asurion Protection during checkout. If you are within 60 days of purchasing your new Consumer Cellular phone, you can enroll in Asurion Protection by calling (888) 345-5509.

You may easily cancel Asurion Protection at any time by calling (888) 345-5509. You will receive a refund and/or credit, if any, of your unearned monthly charge within the applicable time frame required by law.

While new devices generally come with a manufacturer’s warranty, that warranty typically covers mechanical and electrical breakdowns for 12 months. Asurion Protection is inclusive of the manufacturer’s warranty; it does not replace the manufacturer’s warranty. After the manufacturer’s warranty expires, the Plan continues to provide some of the manufacturer’s benefits as well as certain additional benefits listed within the Plan’s terms and conditions.

No, as soon as same day cracked screen repair is available for eligible devices in select areas. Same-day repair option depends on claim approval time, parts availability and technician availability.
